I had so much fun creating my interpretation of portrait #1 in Artella's, Me-Flextions ebook. I used watercolor for the face and stamped leaves in the tree, then I aged the map in the background with Vintage Milk Paint, Leather.

I think this is really cool! I kind of inspired to a portrait myself. I understand that this portrait was supposed to portray a time in your life where you struggled? And that you were supposed to incorporate a map? I think everyone should do one of these. I bet it's super therapeutic.
