Heroes
The world has many heroes, from the one in the newspaper, to the one next door. I've been thinking a lot about my own heroes after reading about Irena Sendler, who died last week, at the age of 98. You can download the new "Hero" quote sheet here.

Slainte!
Today's word is "simple". This card is simply a quote printed on vellum and stuck to a painted background with vellum tape (I love this stuff). Then I added a little shamrock. Simple. The attached PDF file has a few Irish blessings that you can print out, with enough space on the bottom of the quote to add a simple embellishment. Slainte! ("to your health" in Gaelic)

Memories
January is usually a month of reflection, so I've put together a few quotes about memories. In my Polish language class last semester, I learned a new word for biography, "zyciorys" (a little dot goes over the z). This word means, "life sketch".
